Leading design of 0 → 1 internal tooling

I joined an early-stage, startup-like beta as the sole designer, defining design direction and what success looked like for an internal developer tool supporting adoption of Intuit’s unified design system.

The product helps engineers and technical program managers make code updates across 10+ teams: updating dependencies, swapping hardcoded values for tokens, and more, with agents that discover needed fixes and apply the changes.

I led 7 user testing sessions with TPMs and engineers and delivered 3 core feature sets for implementation. Early estimates suggest the migration workflows could save about a day per customer project, supporting AI-accelerated workflows and design-system adoption.
